Former Algonquin Chiropractor Sentenced for Health Care Fraud
Bradley Mattson will spend 6 1/2 years in federal prison.
A local chiropractor has been sentenced to 6 1/2 years in federal prison after entering a guilty plea in September, "admitting to a 10-year scheme to defraud Blue Cross Blue Shield," according to the Northwest Herald.
Bradley Mattson, 51, of Lake Forest co-owned six clinics, including Algonquin Physical Medicine, and submitted almost $5.9 million in unnecessary tests or services that he did not provide and brought in "almost $2.1 million in reimbursements, which he was ordered to repay," according to the Northwest Herald.

I remember when my wife went to him with disc problems.. they had her lie down on her back on the examining table, and it took forever for the doctor to show up in her exam room. After that, my wife said that the doctor was in and out, in and out...
Her back didn't get better. And when i got the bill, i almost fainted. We both ended up getting the shaft.
