Your child's years are fleeting - portrait photography can capture them before they're gone

If you're expecting, there’s a lot to think about before your child arrives - the color to paint the bedroom, baby clothes to buy and what brand of diapers will you need. It's such a busy time with a newborn you may lose track of the little details, such as preserving this precious moment for the years to come.

After a while, you may grow tired of video-camera dad following you and the baby around the house, particularly when you haven't had a chance to fix your hair or get out of that nightgown. Still, you'll never regret having those videos to watch together when child is a bit older. Still, there's something missing, something more permanent to mark the most momentous event in your and your child's life. That's where a portrait photographer comes in.

You don't want just any photographer trying to capture the essence of your relationship with your child. You need someone who understands the dynamics of that relationship – someone who knows how to capture the all-encompassing awe and love you feel for each other. Finding just the right photographer isn't as easy as flipping open a phone book.

The situation calls for a proper investigation. You need someone with experience who has demonstrated the ability to create images that will last forever and fill you with a sense of pride when someone gazes on the final creative product on your wall. In the Midwest, no one matches up to these qualifications better than Audrey Wancket of Wancket Studios in Spring Grove, IL.

Wancket is more than a successful portrait photographer; she's also one of the top award winning photographers in the country. Her amazing ability to create lasting impressions is borne out by her consistent top placements in the Professional Photographers of America's photography competitions, including the Kodak Elite Award. She's also a member of the board of the PPA.

The real evidence, however, is found in her prior works. To ascertain the true extent of her capability, other than taking a trip to Atlanta where the portraits she's created are part of the PPA Loan Collection, the next best solution is to check out her Web site at http://www.wancketstudios.com.  Another option is to take a trip to her Spring Grove studio.
