Kay A. Clark, a Lake in the Hills resident, has just written and published her first book, "Sebastian & Me: A Rite of Passage and Spiritual Journey".  Her book is a collection of true, heartwarming stories of unconditional love, loss, the strength of the human spirit and the bond formed between a cat and it's owner.

Sebastian is the adopted cat who provides the Heaven-sent Band-Aid that was needed at a time of several losses and supplied the unconditional Love that soothed and softened the edges of some of Life's blows.

When Sebastian takes off to discover his own Rite of Passage, many questions arise strengthening the faith and conviction that there is a stronger force out there that is in control and looking out for our good, helping us learn the lessons we were sent here to learn and experience.
