Dr. Daniel Shiba joins staff of Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital

Barrington, IL – Daniel Shiba, MD, has joined the staff of Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital.  This new family medicine physician has an office in Algonquin on County Line Road conveniently located just east of Randall Road and the Algonquin Commons Mall.

Dr. Shiba is locally grown having graduated from Buffalo Grove High School and the University of Chicago.  He attended medical school at the University Of Illinois Chicago College of Medicine and completed his residency at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital. 

As a family medicine physician, Dr. Shiba believes it is important to take the time to fully listen to his patients and help actively engage them in their care in order to better their health. He has a special interest in women’s health.

He is part of the Advocate Medical Group that provides more than 850 primary care physicians, specialist and sub-specialists with over 90 convenient locations across Chicago and Central Illinois. 

He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Medical Association.
